According to the 7th edition of the Publication Manual, the retrieval date for online sources is only mentioned if it is likely that the content of the webpage will be changed (e.g. a Wikipedia entry, social media).Because it is not always clear whether a web page could change, the Dutch APA Working Group recommends to include a retrieval date for all online sources, except for publications with a DOI link or publications from unique databases such as Nexis Uni.

Just like the main text, an appendix can consist of a text, figures and tables. The in-text citation refers to it by first mentioning the letter of the Appendix and then the number of the figure or table. For example 'Figure A2' is the second figure in Appendix A. Use the letter A even if there is only one attachment. Start each figure or table in an appendix with number 1.

APA Images

Just as in the main body of text, a table or figure in an appendix may be taken from an existing source. This source is mentioned in the same reference list as the sources referred to in the main body of text. No separate reference list is therefore created for the appendices, even if the reference list appears before the appendices. How you reference tables and figures depends on the original source.
