Can I still publish my work when I have included it in an institutional repository?

Repositories

Inclusion in a repository doesn't mean the copyright in the publication is lost. This doesn't automatically put it in the public domain.

Third parties who want to use the publication must obtain permission, unless one of the exceptions permitted by the Dutch Copyright Act applies (such as quoting or copying a work for one's own use) or the publication can be used under certain terms and conditions of use.
