Can I abbreviate the name of an organisation?

APA In-text citation

Yes, you are allowed to do this if the organisation also uses this abbreviation.

If you cite the same source more than once, the abbreviation may be used from the second citation onwards. In the first citation state the name in full and the abbreviation in brackets or add the abbreviation in square brackets to show the reader what it stands for.
